Electroculography
Synonym(s) - EOG
Definition: Recording of the mean amplitude of the resting potential occurring between the cornea and retina in light and dark adaptation when the eyes are rotated a standard distance to the right and left. The increase in potential with adaptation to light is used to assess the state of the retinal pigment epithelium.
